Lead Booker Information and FAQs

Is the QR code a ticket? Do I or my guests need it to get into the event?

Please see the following answer relevant to the size of your booking:

I have 1x ticket: If you have booked one ticket, the QR code ticket links to the name, that you entered, to attend the event. Please ensure you, or the guest you booked the ticket for, presents the QR code on arrival (either on a mobile or a printed copy), to gain entry to the event.

I have two or more guests (up to a table): If you have booked two or more guests, the QR code ticket has only been emailed to you as Lead Booker for your booking. However, for registration purposes, it links to your other guest/s names you entered as part of the guest administration process. Please present the QR code (either on your mobile or a printed copy) on arrival to gain entry to the event. You can share this QR code with your guest/s by forwarding your ticket email, so they can check-in at their leisure, or keep it to yourself if you plan to meet your guest/s in advance and all check-in together.

I have two or more tables with many guests: If you have booked two or more tables, the QR code ticket has only been emailed to you as Lead Booker for your booking. However, for registration purposes, it links to the names of all the guests you entered as part of the guest administration process. Please present the QR code (either on your mobile or a printed copy) on arrival to gain entry to the event. You can share this QR code with your guests by forwarding your ticket email, so they can check-in at their leisure, or keep it to yourself if you plan to meet your guests in advance and all check-in together. In addition, a member of our events team will be in contact to check if you would like to specify which tables for your booking you would like your guests seated at.

Please note, having your QR code at hand will be the quickest way for you or your guests to gain access to the event and we recommend having this ready on arrival. Lead Bookers will have received an email with subject line "Your tickets are here!". Please keep this safe as it contains the QR Code. However, pre-registered guests will be permitted to enter by providing their name. Any guests not pre-registered for your booking will be directed to the Help Desk and may not be permitted to enter the event. If you need to update any guest names, please contact bookings@roofingawards.co.uk


Can I update or change one of my guest’s details?

In order for any guest to gain entry to the event they must be named and pre-registered to your booking. If a guest can no longer attend and you wish to notify us of a change in guest details, please do so ahead of the event to avoid any delays on the day. Please email bookings@roofingawards.co.uk with the change, ensuring any new guest details are provided. At this late stage, a standard meal will be served, as unfortunately we can no longer accommodate dietary requirements.


I am Lead Booker. Should I email my guests with the QR code?

It is up to you. Forwarding the QR code ticket to your named guest/s will allow them smooth entry into the event without you being present, eliminating issues that may occur should you or your guest/s run late for any reason and you can meet them in the drinks reception.


I still have to complete my Guest Administration.

Guest Registration has now closed. If you wish to make any amendments to your guest details, please contact bookings@roofingawards.co.uk. Please note, if a guest presents the QR code for your booking at the event, but is not registered as one of your guests, they will be directed to our Help Desk and may not be permitted to enter. Please ensure all your guest details are correct.


How do I know what table number/s I have?

Your were emailed your table number/s as Lead Booker along with your QR code 'ticket' for admission to the event. There is a table plan here. There will be table plans on display at the event and the registration team will be on hand to assist you, and your guests, to check or find your table number on the day.


What drinks package will my guests have?

Lead Bookers were asked to choose the drinks package that would be a "best fit" for all their guests during the guest administration period. The packages were: All wine (includes red and/or white) or Wine (includes red and/or white) AND beer. If a package was not chosen, the Wine (includes red and/or white) AND beer has been allocated to your booking.

Both packages include red and white wine. At the event, should your guests prefer just red or just white wine, they will be able to swap unopened bottles of wine with their waiter. For example, if your guests prefer red wine, they can swap unopened bottles of white wine from their package, for red wine. Bottles of beer cannot be swapped for wine and vice-versa. Other drinks will be available to purchase at the event, including from your table, via a QR code on the menu on your table or with your wine waiter. Bars will be open in the Arora Foyer before and after the awards ceremony.


Guest Information and FAQs

What is the address of the venue and how do I get there?

The NFRC Roofing Awards 2026 are being held at the InterContinental London - The O2, One Waterview Drive, Greenwich Peninsula, SE10 0TW.

The closest public transport station is North Greenwich, just a 5-minute walk from the venue. North Greenwich is serviced by the Jubilee Line and buses. Please find information for the venue here.


What are the timings of the UK Roofing Awards?

12:00 Drinks Reception (Please do not arrive earlier as doors will not open until the reception start time.)
13:00 Lunch and Awards Ceremony
16:30* After Party
19:30 Last orders at the bar
20:00 Event closes

*The After Party will commence when the awards ceremony has closed.


What is the dress code?

The dress code is lounge suits.


Is there a cloakroom to leave my bag/coat at the event?

Yes, there is a cloakroom next to the registration area in the Ground Floor Foyer for guests to leave such items.


How do I enter the event?

Please check with your Lead Booker to see if they are arranging to meet up ahead of the event or they can email you the QR code ticket for the booking. Provided you are a named guest on the booking, this will allow you entry into the event.


Should I have a printed ticket?

There are no printed tickets being sent out for this event. Please arrive with your Lead Booker or ask them for the QR code ticket, if you plan to arrive and register separately.


Can I enter the awards without the QR code ticket?

Arriving with your Lead Booker or presenting the QR code ticket on arrival (either on a phone or a printed copy), will make accessing the event a smooth process provided you are a named guest on the booking. If you do not have the QR code ticket, our events registration team will endeavour to register guests checked against pre-registered names for the booking.


I have a special dietary requirement. What meal will I have and how will the waiting staff know where I am seated?

Lead Bookers completed dietary requirements for their guest/s as part of the registration process. If you booked your own ticket(s) then you will have provided the information directly yourself when completing your own guest registration. Any guest that has been registered with a dietary requirement will be served a meal that meets this requirement. The waiting staff have a record of all guest names and table numbers where this is the case. In addition, these guests will have a name place card with dietary requirement on their table to aid this process.


I am no longer able to make the event. Can I give my ticket to a colleague?

We hope you will be able to attend this fantastic event. If for any reason you cannot make it, please get in touch with your Lead Booker to notify them and agree any name changes. Your Lead Booker will need to register any change of guest by contacting the organisers before the event date at bookings@roofingawards.co.uk.

If a guest is not named, it will hinder their admission, or they may not be granted access into the event.


Is there parking at the venue?

Car Parking at InterContinental London - The O2 is limited, and parking spaces are only available on a first-come, first-served basis and cannot be booked in advance. All car parking at the venue must be in a designated car parking bay and paid as per the conditions displayed in the carpark. If you do not follow this procedure, you will be liable to a fine from the council. The carpark is managed by a third-party company and neither NFRC or the hotel can be held responsible for any fines issued.

UK Roofing Awards 2026 is proudly supporting The Cystic Fibrosis Trust. We will be joined by a guest speaker with a short introduction to the charity, and there will be opportunities to donate throughout the day.
